Mayor Boris Johnson, has pledged an initial £15,000 towards the cost of mounting a legal challenge if the well wishers go ahead with plans to build a third runway at Heathrow.
According to the plans, the new runway in place by 2030 and which would expand the number of flights at Heathrow from 480,000 to 700,000 a year.
