Climate conditons econimic downtrun has resulted in failing Facebook's bid to acquire Twitter in exchange for £330m worth of stock.
Facebook was offering 3.33% of its stock valuing Twitter at £330m. Microsoft paid £160m earlier for a 1.6% stake in the social networking site. At that price facebook was valued at £10bn.
