Bank of England Cuts Key Rate to 2%

Today, to cushion the blow of an increasingly severe domestic recession, Bank of England reduced the key rate by 1% to 2 percent from 3 percent

Also, The European Central Bank, cut its rate by 75 basis points to 2.50% from 3.25% to help restart economic growth and to ease the financing problems of banks.
